Aces. Raised the times big blind to three hundred. Button and big blind call. Flop comes two hearts and a diamond, all small. Big blind bets five hundred, I raise to fifteen hundred, button folds, big blind calls for another thousand.
Turn is king if spades... He checks, I bet fifteen hundred. He calls. River is eight of hearts... He checks and I skip a potential value bet because I am scared of the three hearts. He had queen jack of hearts, I lost an $8k hand - aces cracked by a river flush draw.
I needed to bet much more on the turn to keep him from chasing the flush... That was dumb. Damn.
