End of the second round

So our last player finally showed up a little before four pm... He was down about $3K. This was the $100/$200 level with no antes.

Anyway, I had pocket queens early, but couldn't get a call on my raise to $650.

I had ace five suited that I played to a min raise of $400. We were heads up and I caught a pair of fives on a Q, 5, 2 rainbow flop. He bet $500, I raised to $1,200 hoping he would fold with bad position. He did not... But checked the turn and then dumped on me after the river... I never got better than my fives, so I saved a couple thousand and folded.

I was in the small blind with K2 and limped after it was just me and big blind. I hit a 2 on the flop and made a min bet hoping to win a minimal pot, but he called, my hand didn't improve on the turn, and he dumped on me after I checked on the turn, so I got out.

I called a raise to $500 with A3 suited in a good position, but small blind raised to $2,200 and I had to get out.

I had pocket fives and an early position raised to $700... Myself and one other called. Flop came 9, 7, 3 and early position bet $700. Knowing him to bet with overs, I raised to $2,200 and got both to fold.

Two hands before the end of the level, I get 6, 8 suited in the small blind. There was a raise to $500 with two callers before me. Figuring the big blind would call or fold, I liked the odds in spite of my bad position and poor cards, so I called looking for a monster. I got 8, 3, 4 rainbow... But with top pair I unloaded an $1800 bet and got all four to fold.

On a side note, theres a euro kid two behind me and he raises my big blind every damn time... I'm really getting upset. I want to pop him back, but I have jack three or queen six every time. One of these times he's going to do it when I have a monster and I'll either dump on him or go to the flop with a better hand but out of position. I can't worry about it too much since there aren't even antes yet I guess.

Anyway, two levels and four hours in and I'm at $24,000 and change.

I think I have written about every hand ive played - so about eleven hands in four hours cost me $6,000 so far.

I need one big one to get things turned around and back on track... But if I don't get it in this level before dinner, I'm going to be in a world of hurt after dinner.

I forgot how exciting and exhausting this is...
